Betty Burlesque meets Holly Hollywood

They're the girls you want but can't have, you can look but you sure as hell can't touch, and their dark, mysterious, yet ultra girly style leaves the boys yearning to know more and the girls green with envy. This look is the ultimate Pin-Up/Old Hollywood homage; figure-showing dresses make the eyes wander from curve to curve (and without being scandalous they keep 'em guessing, and it's common knowledge that mystery and the art of allure are what true sexiness is all about), and classic elements like tantalizing black stilettos and ruby red lips seal the deal.

Dita Von Teese keeps Old Hollywood alive, and just as ladylike (and sexy!) as ever.

Peggy Punk meets Roxy Rockabilly

I don't know what it is about those angst-y retro glam girls that gets me going, but daily I dream of cigarette jeans, bright lipstick, kick ass leather and that too-cool-for-school, middle-finger boasting, curled lip don't-give-no-f***-yet still sweet as candy bad girl attitude. It's about keeping the spirit of strong, beautiful, unforgiving (and unforgettable!) women alive, one cheetah print heel at a time.

(side note: get used to seeing her face, she might just so happen to be my favorite (living) muse).
